AI that helps you understand, organize, and remember.

Recavora uses AI to help reconstruct and maintain continuity across your medical records — extracting information, classifying studies, surfacing your history as a narrative, and guiding your next step. Every output is a draft. You always decide what stays.

Philosophy

AI as your assistant. Not your decision-maker.

Medical continuity requires accuracy. That's why Recavora draws a clear line between what AI does and what you confirm.

AI reads documents so you don't have to transcribe them. It classifies imaging so you don't have to identify study types manually. It synthesizes your history into a narrative so a new provider can understand your context quickly. It surfaces nudges when your continuity record could be stronger.

But AI never saves anything you haven't reviewed. It never alters a record without your confirmation. And it never makes clinical judgments.

Four pillars

Understand. Organize. Remember. Progress.

The four ways Recavora's AI supports continuity — each one drafted by AI, confirmed by you.

Pillar 01 · Understand

Understand what your records contain.

Document extraction.

When you upload a medical document — a lab report, a consultation note, a discharge summary — Recavora reads it and drafts the key structured information: date, provider, record type, diagnoses, medications, results, and more. You review every field before anything is saved. If the extraction misses something or gets something wrong, you correct it. All corrections are tracked.

Extraction is performed by a dedicated edge function. Success rates, manual correction rates, and latency are monitored per pipeline. Extraction failures are handled separately from upload failures.

Pillar 02 · Organize

Organize your imaging history automatically.

Imaging AI classification.

When imaging studies are uploaded or delivered to your profile, Recavora's imaging AI identifies the study type, modality, and body region — and suggests where it fits in your continuity history. It may also surface relevant organization suggestions based on your existing records. Classification is a draft. You confirm before it's applied.

Pillar 03 · Remember

Turn years of records into a coherent health story.

Continuity stories.

Most health platforms store documents. Recavora can go further — generating a continuity story for each patient profile: a structured narrative that synthesizes the key themes, chronology, and context across your full record history. This is the difference between a folder of files and a story that can be understood. A continuity story is useful for quickly briefing a new provider, helping a family member understand a relative's history, or simply gaining a coherent view of your own health journey across years and providers. Stories live in your patient profile under the Stories view.

Pillar 04 · Progress

Know what to do next.

Continuity insights and programs.

Continuity Insights are stage-aware prompts that appear on your dashboard to guide you toward the next valuable action in your continuity journey. They're context-specific — after your first upload, an insight might suggest adding a family profile. After adding records across multiple categories, it might suggest building a bundle. For more structured continuity journeys, Recavora supports continuity programs — organized workflows for recurring medical requirements such as aviation medicals, visa medicals, and long-term condition monitoring.

Transparency

What we do. What we don't.

What Recavora's AI does

  • Reads and extracts structured data from uploaded documents
  • Classifies imaging studies by type, modality, and body region
  • Generates continuity stories from existing records
  • Surfaces stage-appropriate continuity insights on the dashboard
  • Suggests categorization and bundle organization

What it does not do

  • Diagnose medical conditions
  • Make clinical recommendations
  • Save any output without your explicit review and approval
  • Access records from providers without patient-authorized disclosure
  • Override your corrections

Person-directed intelligence

Every AI feature in Recavora exists to reduce friction — not to replace your judgment.

Your corrections are tracked. Your approvals are required. Your continuity stays yours.

FAQ

Common questions

Does AI ever automatically save changes to my records?
Never. All AI output is a draft. Every extracted field, classification, and story is presented for your review before anything is committed to your profile. Manual corrections are tracked.
Can AI diagnose conditions or recommend treatments?
No. Recavora's AI is an organizational and extraction tool. It does not provide clinical interpretation, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.
How accurate is AI extraction?
Extraction accuracy varies by document type and quality. Recavora tracks success rates and manual correction rates per pipeline. The review step exists precisely because AI is not perfect — your confirmation is always required.
What are Continuity Stories used for?
A continuity story is a narrative summary of a patient profile's key health context. It's intended to help you quickly orient a new provider, or to give you a high-level view of a family member's history. Stories are revision-tracked and can be updated as your record grows.
Can I turn off AI features?
AI extraction runs when you upload a document. You can ignore the AI draft and enter fields manually if you prefer. Classification and insights can be dismissed without affecting your records.
