Your scans belong to you.

Store, view, and compare your X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and other imaging studies in one place. Receive deliveries from labs and clinics. Request an independent review. All within your Recavora profile.

The problem

Medical imaging gets lost between providers.

A radiologist's report gets filed at the hospital. The images stay on the hospital's system. Your GP has neither. Your new specialist is working from memory. Imaging studies are some of the most expensive and clinically valuable records you have — and they're routinely the hardest to access and share.

Recavora keeps every study organized, viewable, and ready to share with whoever needs it — without you having to request a disc from a records department.

Features

What imaging in Recavora gives you

Every study, in order

Upload imaging files and associate them with your profile's timeline. Each study is stored with its date, type, body region, facility, and any attached reports. View studies side by side — useful for tracking conditions that involve periodic imaging over time.

View your scans directly in Recavora

Recavora includes a built-in imaging viewer. Open studies, zoom, and review images without needing third-party software or requesting a viewing station from a provider.

View studies side by side

Select two studies and open them in the comparison view. Useful for reviewing how something has changed between scans — before a follow-up appointment, or when preparing for a specialist consultation.

Receive imaging directly from your provider

Clinics and labs with a verified Recavora workspace can deliver imaging studies directly to your imaging inbox. You review each delivery before accepting it into your profile. No portals, no discs, no chasing records departments.

Request an independent review

If you want another perspective on an imaging study, you can request an independent review from a verified professional through Recavora's reviewer portal. The reviewer accesses only the specific study you've authorized — and submits a formal review report back to your profile.

AI classification, human confirmation

When you upload a study, Recavora's imaging AI identifies the study type, body region, and modality — and offers continuity suggestions for organizing it within your profile. All AI output is a draft. You confirm before anything is saved.

    Upload or receive

Upload imaging files directly to a patient profile, or accept a delivery from a clinic or lab into your imaging inbox.

  2. 2

    AI classification

Recavora's imaging AI classifies the study type and suggests where it fits in your continuity history. You review the classification.

  3. 3

    View and organize

Open the study in the built-in viewer. Add it to your timeline, associate it with a bundle, or link it to a related record.

  4. 4

    Share when you're ready

Include imaging studies in a disclosure bundle. A provider receives a secure link with exactly the studies you've authorized — and access is logged.

FAQ

Common questions

What imaging file formats does Recavora support?
Recavora supports DICOM series files and common image formats (JPEG, PNG, PDF). Basic DICOM viewing is supported. Advanced windowing and measurement tools are not currently available.
Can a hospital deliver my imaging directly to Recavora?
Yes — if the hospital or lab has a verified Recavora workspace, they can deliver studies to your imaging inbox. You accept each delivery before it appears in your profile.
What is a professional review?
A professional review is a formal opinion submitted by a verified radiologist or clinical reviewer through Recavora's reviewer portal. You request the review, specify which study is being reviewed, and the reviewer submits a written report. The reviewer has access only to the authorized study.
Is the Recavora viewer a diagnostic tool?
No. The Recavora imaging viewer is for personal organization and sharing purposes only. It is not a certified diagnostic viewing system. Clinical interpretation should always be performed by a qualified professional.
Can I include imaging studies in a shared bundle?
Yes. Imaging studies can be added to bundles alongside other medical records. When you create a disclosure, you choose which studies and records to include.
